I WANT TO GET INTO MMA, HOW CAN I DO IT?
This is a very popular question, if not the most asked in public and on the web. You have to do some research in your area. No matter where you live, look for a boxing/mma/wrestling or any gym that can help you get started. If your serious and live in a small town, you might have to relocate. Find a gym that fits your style and that you can afford – then take a fight after you are prepared and had the proper training. Another thing – you do not have to be muscular or athletic to be a fighter – and you do not have to have tatoos or be a former street fighter. Know your strengths and focus on your weaknesses and you will become a great fighter – technique and cardio are extremely important in mma.
WHERE DO YOU TRAIN AND WHO DO YOU TRAIN WITH?
Ohio-Strongstyle MMA, Oklahoma-Ghost Dog - Peppe Johnson, Xtreme Combat Fitness, and The Grudge Training Center in Denver, Colorado - and I plan on training in New Mexico at Greg Jacksons gym in the future. I am no longer a member of Team Quest, but I left on good terms.
DID YOU USE TO BE A COMEDIAN? DO YOU STILL PERFORM?
Yes, I was a comedian for about 6 years, but the money and opportunities were not coming for me. I wanted to do some comedy soon, but I can’t because I’m dedicating %100 of my time and energy towards becoming a MMA legend. After my MMA career, I plan on being a successful actor and managing my own fighters.
ARE YOU STILL TEACHING? WHAT GRADES DID YOU TEACH?
I taught for 3 years, 1&1/2 years at two levels. Middle school and High school for the duration. I loved teaching, but it takes a lot of time and effort that I cant provide while pursuing another career. I have not taught school since May 2007. That’s when I decided to do this full time.
ARE YOU IN THE UFC, MAN YOU WERE BEATING AMIR UNTIL YOU GOT CAUGHT!
It took me two years, but I finally earned a spot in the UFC – I am currently 3-0 with all fights ending via TKO/KO.
Yes, I was dominating Amir, but he’s a warrior and I have a lot of respect for him. In this sport you can lose in the blink of an eye – call it what you want, but it’s still a loss. (Except for the Leopoldo fight 
He earned his way to the finale and won the show, so give the man his credit. I’m a very nice person, but if you read this and see me out in public, please take note that I’m not excited to be reminded of that moment, so it would be nice if we could talk about something else
